Week of September 26

September 26
Well, here's to another week...(*clink*)! Much to do this fine day, so, HERE WE GO! Feeling great again today and looking forward to getting back on the mat to keep on training and workin it out!

Hey-have a wonderful day and keep on truckin'.

Word of the Day is "POSSIBLE". ♥

September 27
Sometimes, it really is the simple things... I woke up today... therefore I am grateful! It's a beautiful day here in SoCal and gotta bundle to do. Some school work, a converted van project, and hopefully some music too.

Finally feeling back to normal. They say "may experience rapid weight gain." I say, "No kiddin' Willy Wonka!"

Word of the Day is "BLIMP" ♥

Greg Liceraga, Jimmy Scott, me, and Dean Hanson - a Michigan moment.

September 28
Watched the sunrise this morning with Jax and my brother-in-law, Pete. It was spectacular. The hair on my body continues to fall out, and well, it's still weird!

It's another incredible day to here with you guys and gals!

We have a couple different "cancer" bracelets for $5 each if anyone is interested.

All proceeds go to the Michael S. Kreple Fight For Fitness Cancer Fund.

Word of the Day is "DELEGATE". ♥

September 30
Thanks so much for the responses.

This is from my friend Tom, "The bracelets can be purchased at the TapouT Training Center 410 Grand Cypress Avenue #202 Paalmdale, Ca. 93551-Donation checks should be made payable to Fight For Fitness with Michael S. Kreple Cancer Fund in the memo. Please include a S.A.S.E."

This is so cool guys, The Kreple's really appreciate it. Word of the Day is "PARTICIPATION". ♥

October 1
Happy Friday AND October! Wow-where is the time going, right? Congrats on making it through another week.

We'll be relaxing this weekend and getting ready for a follow up appointment on Monday afternoon to check labs.

Feeling amazing and grateful to be with you all for another day. Mad Respect and LOVE for everyone of ya! Word of the Day is "MAGNITUDE". ♥

October 2
Good morning all! Our dear friend Roz needs your prayers this morning. Her daughter, Gabby, was in a car accident last night. She has a fractured pelvis, but when I talked to her she sounded to be in good spirits. We all know the power of prayer and a "no quit" attitude.

We LOVE our Roz, she's understandably worried sick. No donuts today, it's lemonade time. Word of the Day is "POWER". ♥

Week of September 19

September 24, 2010

"The cocktail"

Happy Friday! Going in for another try at the chemo. I am trusting it will be a great success. Got the word yesterday there's huge things happening. Glad we can all be part of it together! Hang steady it's about to explode.
"Believe you can and you're halfway there." Theodore Roosevelt.
Got nothin but BIG LOVE for you guys and hope today is a great one. Word of the Day is "MAGNIFICENT" ♥

September 22, 2010
Two good things in one. After today there will be only 4 more treatments remaining, AND I will be among many other people receiving chemo today.

SEND IN THE ANGEL'S FOR A FULL COURT PRESS. There'll be people in there today "dieing" for a life change. My new daily mantra is "whatever it takes!"

Word of the Day is "SOLDIER". ♥

This sweet lady is taking my temperature - not plucking nose hairs.

UPDATE:
Hey ya'll-small delay.  Chemo has been pushed back til Friday. Some counts in my lab work were not quite what they wanted them to be. This is a blessing. It made them give me medication that increases my white blood cell count, which we all remember from biology, is the "fight club" in our bodies. Ding ding, lace up your boots.  The fight is ON.

We are re-scheduled for Friday morning to be back in there, have blood drawn, and hopefully,  to start chemo. ♥

September 21, 2010
Good Morning! Before I get into the test results, I wanted to wish everyone a most exciting and awesome day.

We all march to a different tune but realize this, we are ALL marching to music. I can't really tell you guys how much I Love you and we appreciate everything that is being done for us around the world.  This is the text from the test results for those playing along..."Irregularly shaped area of abnormal uptake in the anterior abdomen is compatible with known Lymphoma. There is NO abnormal uptake in the neck, chest, or pelvis."

We are...grinning from ear to ear!

Word of the Day is "GOODNESS". ♥

September 20, 2010
It's Monday morning. That means school with the boy today.

This afternoon, down to the hospital for Labs and results from PET Scan last week. Anticipating great news as I feel as good as ever! Also, last night I noticed that the effects of chemo aren't limited to the dissolving of the PB, but also the loss of my body fur has begun. Oh, happy day! Um THAT is WEIRD to experience.

Love to you all constantly. Word of the Day is "HAIRLESS". ♥

Waiting for our appointment...shhh, we're hunting wabbits. With all this wabbit food, I know there's one here someplace. :))

Week of September 12

September 18

One of the best ways to start your day is to watch the sunrise and enjoy it with the ones you love.

Fight practice was awesome last night.

Did my daily check of PB this morning, and I am extremely happy to report. to all my brothers and sisters around the world, that PB is disintegrating into a blip of nothingness. Ah yes, size does matter when killing cancer!

The annihilation of PB is going very well thanks to GOD, and all of YOUR thoughts and prayers. Please keep'em comin' and shortly we'll celebrate a most triumphant victory!

Word of the Day is "SUCCESS". ♥

September 17
TGIF-More of the same today but hopefully with better teamwork. I think it will be great!

I'm back to training full on! It feels great to be back on the mat and workin' with the guys.

Some unbelievable stuff is happening around here. I am a very blessed man!

Ok-gotta get to a happy place this late morning! Our most awesome and intractable son is pushing my limits this morning.

I try to pick the "battles" and today is "one-of-those-days". HOME SCHOOL IS NOT A VACATION MISTER!

Anyway, workouts last night were incredible! Sparred in boxing class and then worked on some ground game in MMA class. I love it! Loving you all dearly! Word of the Day is "BREATH". ♥

From Michael:

So much is happening here! Man!! I'm just tryin' to hang on.

EVERYTHING (except PB) is going big and we are very excited to be a part of it. Silverlining to the vegetarian thing is, I'll make my new weight class easily.

I challenge you all to turn your lemons into lemonade. Do you dare to be great?

My good friend Mary Skerrett says the word of the Day is "RESILIENCE". Love to you all! ♥

Ok! So switching to herbivore. I only know how to go big ;). Check the relationship of the guitar pick and the bowl. Mom said she made a salad in this bowl to feed 10. Hm-m-m.
It's official. Herbivore.

Good day fellow earthlings! Looks like another beautiful one here in SoCal. Started my workouts again last night. Gotta ramp it up through next Thurs. 9-23, for round two of chemo. Currently making the switch to vegetarian. ME NO LIKEY LIKE! :)

Morning! PET scan was lame, but a success.

Today the sun is shining again and I'm thankful for it.

Yesterday was day two for workouts, feeling great. Your thoughts and prayers are NO DOUBT the reasons why!

Jax and I are eternally grateful for it and no matter how "dark" it's gotten in recent weeks, we've been able to bounce right back, get back on the horse and keep charging.

Word of the Day is "APPRECIATION". ♥

September 8. 2010
On the road this morning back to the hospital for a PET Scan. Not really for anything except to have another set of image's to compare the "before chemo and after chemo". Whatever man! Can we just get this thing going? Does this thing show bruising? Cuz PB is gettin' it's BUTT KICKED!" :-)

My workout was great and I feel great this morning. Word of the Day is "EXCEPTION".

Mad LOVE for you all... ♥

DAY FIVE - POST CHEMO

Good morning!

Day 5 after chemo started out a little better than day 4 did. Feeling more myself this morning.

Gram and Gramp Kreple are here from Michigan, and Madi will be back later this morning. All present and accounted for.

Lancing and I are in the home school mode today. Later, I'm going to get on the mat solo for a light workout. It's more "where do I stand", than serious workout, as that's not "allowed".

Word of the day is "LONGEVITY!"

ROUND ONE

WHAT A RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!! Chemo started Thursday night, 9/02. I was scared. No, I mean really SCARED! We had a great team--wonderful people--all of them. Friday morning came and went. They drew blood several times. Then they came and said one last blood draw, and they could let me go. They liked how the blood work looked, so they said, "go on home".

Your prayers and energies to me and my family are making a big deal not quite SO BIG.

LOVE AND THANKS TO YOU ALL.

What's the word? We are still at--W A R!!!!!!!!!!
